We collaborate directly with the appropriate members of your construction team, answer design-related questions, review proposed substitutions, and visit the site at important stages when included in the project scope.

Our responsibility is to protect the design intent and help keep decisions moving. Your builder remains responsible for construction management, scheduling, field measurements, installation, building codes, and the work performed by the trades.

Construction-phase design coordination is a separate, ongoing part of our service. This ensures that the meetings, site visits, questions, revisions, and unexpected decisions that arise during construction receive the time and attention they require.

OUR PROCESS

We begin by reviewing the plans, project schedule, construction allowances, and intended buyer. From there, we establish the design direction, complete the agreed-upon selections, and issue an organized specification schedule to your team.

Construction-phase design coordination is structured separately and may include scheduled meetings, site observations, substitution reviews, and responses to design-related questions.

The builder remains responsible for construction management, field measurements, quantities, code compliance, ordering, scheduling, and installation.
